What We Do
We Value Collaboration
Many community members and several public and private organizations have collaborated to make Onward Eden Prairie a reality.
Onward Eden Prairie manages all aspects of the housing project. We contract with 180 Degrees to provide support services on-site to help residents set and work on life goals and skills that will help them move forward.
A house in Eden Prairie’s Preserve Neighborhood has been renovated. Young adults who do not have a reliable place to live may apply to rent one of four rooms at the house.
To be eligible tenants must work and/or attend classes and be willing to work with a Case Manager to improve their life situation and to prepare to move forward. Average participant stay is anticipated to be one to two years. Participant eligibility requirements include:
Be between the ages of 18 and 22 at time of application
Referral by PROP, 180 Degrees, Oasis for Youth, MoveFwd, high school counselors or a community member who is concerned about a youth
Have an acceptable background check
Be committed to living in a sober house
Be willing to work with a Case Manager
